About the Band

In the past year ORGANIX has been working with Universal Motown recording artist Kaze, and Mr. Mohalyn of Solo’s Unit. In order to add intensity and dynamics to live performances, ORGANIX has arranged versions of tracks from Kaze’s latest album ‘First In Flight.’ Recently ORGANIX has performed with Kaze and Mr. Mohalyn in Wilmington and Chapel Hill.

Since its conception in 2001, the Wilmington, NC based band has developed a loyal following by playing sold-out shows throughout the area. ORGANIX was voted “Best Band in Wilmington in 2005” by Wilmington’s premiere entertainment newspaper Encore and continues to receive recognition from fans and other media outlets.

In a review by Jaclyn Piermarini of Wilmington's Star News Ms. Piermarini writes: “At the close of the evening, I noticed a situation that would make any band ecstatic: Nobody seemed to want to leave, and listeners jockeyed for a chance to pick up a CD while heaping praises on the members of the band.”
